Stranded WHERES THE FCUKING ANNOUNCEMENT ARRRRGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH

As soon as JE virtually confirmed yesterday that it’s Dai holding up proceedings I thought this won’t be happening. All we can do is wait and see.

If it is down to Dai, then besides getting some perverse enjoyment out of screwing the club over even more, what is there in it for him? Presume it's too late now for him to change the terms of the deal and therefore surely there'd be legal/financial penalties if he did start bogging about?

Couhig said it would happen Tuesday or Wednesday, didn`t say which week though, he also said he was waiting for the other side to sign it off, if that was Dai how can you be confident?

Just so long as it's not in the hands of those merchant bankers who currently own our club.

Solicitors generally exchange contracts on a Friday? Let's hope it's tomorrow then.

Some numpties on X already threatening to stop the Charlton home game going ahead if Dai fcuks us over.

It seems clear the issue must be a dying ego

I still fully expect Dai to crash the deal at the last second and then irrevocably close the club just to spite us all.

What has happened to the various charges over club assets ?
Weren’t the held by Chiron subject to completion of a deal with them ?

Yes and as far as I can tell from Companies House, Chiron own all the shares of the company that Couhig is using to buy the club.

That would be very expensive for Dai. He might be an utter spaz, but he isn't going to throw money away like that. There were murmurings last week the hold up may be stadium related. Certainly more plausible than the Hotel, which neither Dai or RFC own, so shouldn't come into the equation at all. It'll get done; one way or another; it's just bloody frustrating for those of us who care about this club.

Dai does own the stadium as far as I know, it's just in a different holding company to the rest of the club.

My concern is that according to Tim Dellor's tweet the hold up is at Dai's end. Let's hope Dai is less of a loon than he has appeared to be for the last N years.

Tim Dellor - New bestie. Rob Couhig tells me the deal should be announced on Tues or Weds. “From my side it’s all done. I’m just waiting for the other side to approve it all”.

Somethings clearly not gone quite to plan this week, but fingers crossed won’t end in tears. Pretty essential to get done in time for a few new players though given our paper thin squad.
