retro royal Shut up Dellor, you make watching Reading painful.

Haha Royals TV gone to Welsh mode, maybe others agree

But there's a lag and the quality is shit

He means the commentary, not the players.

But listen to the commentators. Not one word about them, all about the football.

Snowflake Royal It's not helping that we don’t have a genuine fullback and we're pushing for a goal and getting picked off on the break.

Selles is doing something - not sure quite what but something - bringing one full back central. Happened on their second goal as well didn’t it - Dorsett nowhere to be seen on the flank

We've been alright in our play. Slow in the first half with quick attacks when we got going. Just want a goal to keep the moral up.

Wrexham just play like a team with confidence and know what they're doing. Couple of class players there too.

We're going to be OK still!

Need to stop leaving ourselves short at the back, the games gone, just keep it at 3 nil. Wrexham show what being organised and having a giant no.9 and a hard running team can do. Can’t see them being good away from home as their football is limited, but will hard to beat at home.

I can't really tell listening to BBCRB but stats would suggest this is an absolutely justified scoreline, we've created nothing, no shots on target.

Just the exact coming down to Earth I was hoping we wouldn't get.

McClean is bullying Elliott so much he'd be in detention for a year if they were at school.

Wrexham are going to do well this season. They don't look out of place at all. I know they're winning, but it's about how they've won. We weren't shit in the first half.

Yeah,I think he went into the game wanting to dominate midfield so got Craig and Dorsett to keep coming narrow to play ball. But between that, their lack of fullback experience and bugger all help from their wingers, plus it pushing Elliott and Savage up higher, its leaving us hideously exposed.

It's a bit like Gomes has taken charge.

Date: 8 August 1998
Result: Wrexham 3 Reading 0

Parky didn't play in that either.

Let's get Wing and Smith off for safety and give the Academy some more minutes.

God, so remember that game, first game of season, just moved to Frankfurt and watching Jeff stelling on Soccer Saturday for the first time, thought we'd piss it, that season was just horrible

Wrexham commentator essentially said too much fannying around from Reading, to yet another attempt from Elliott to walk through their defence and giving it away yet again.

Not too upset with our performance really. I wouldn’t say we’ve been bullied really, more naive and gave them a couple of very easy goals

We’ve struggled since they went 3-0 and have gone low block but again not wholly surprising

Better choices and dare I say a few more things going our way in and around their area and things have been different

We do need to get some players in though. Real stretch for the likes of Akande this

I hope we have some players lined up already once the takeover hopefully goes through because this lack of squad depth is going to ruin our season.

Yep Elliot and Savage just don't work, Think Abretha comes in and Craig comes into midfield for either, no idea what we can do upfront
