That's a fantastic ball in from Akande. So good no one thought he'd do it.

Really like what I've seen from Akande so far.

Excellent defending there from Bindon.

Bindon did well, but the striker had him in his dust if he took the right touch. Terrible forward play to let him back in it.

Excellent from Bindon. He’s got a head much older than his years.

Need to get something out of this phase whilst we’re dominant.

Charlton have nothing at all in midfield because they are seemingly playing with 6 in defence.

Kelvin has been unusually quiet, not getting much change out of their RB. That's hurting our goal chances.

Incredible save from Pereira

For all our dominance, we haven't made it count, and we could easily be 2 down despite it.

We could use a bit more greediness maybe. Someone willing to just have a dig.

Keep wanting to se him make runs in space and he's not doing it. Wonder if he is nursing an injury?

My view today

Commentator needs to improve his name pronunciation. Cringing every time Amadou is mentioned.

BBC Stats indicate a match that Reading is taking the initiative but showing woeful finishing - 7 shots taken, 2 blocked and 5 off target. Charlton show to have forced one save on their one shot on target, with one blocked and 2 off target of their 4 tries. Reading with 2/3 possession and 4 corners but naught to show for it.

We've completely lost it. No out. Midfield very casual. Dorsett completely switched off at one point.

Something needs to freshen Kelvin still not in it. Akande faded.

What a goal! Great work from Elliott to keep hold of it and release him.
