Everton off to a great start, 0 points, 0 goals and 7 conceded. No doubt their fans will be calling for Dyche's dismissal.

I thought they were a bit spineless and sulked after the sending-off.
With a bit more steadiness in front of goal Brighton could well have won the game.

Players like Saka, Odegaard and Trossard are very good when the going is good but are not the sort to have in the trenches and that might be the reason why Arsenal fall short again this season as City and Liverpool appear to have more of a backbone and steeliness in their ranks.

Bit early to tell if Slot's Liverpool have "steeliness" given they've had a easy start playing a newly promoted club and mid table Brentford. We'll see how they do away to another mid table club today.

You only have to look at the Liverpool squad and City's squad to see that there are no soft touches in either of those sides.
Regardless of today's cup final for Man Utd when they usually manage to raise their game I feel sure that Liverpool will be up there challenging again and are nailed on for a top 4 finish .

If they drop points, it'll prolly be another City title

Is Robertson carrying a knock as he was poor in the first game? Didn't see the last one

As the old saying goes, the game isn't played on paper.

Alexander-Arnold is still a soft touch defensively, and it will be interesting to see how he does under a different manager, as he was made for Klopp's tactical set-up. He did not look happy when Slot took him off the other day. Although you'd be worried if a player did look happy to go off tbf.I like Konate but he blows hot and cold and he needs to play two positions a lot of the time to cover for TAA.

Robertson has not impressed me recently at club level and he was extremely poor at the Euros when a poor side needed their best player and captain to step up. Van Dijk and Allison need to have very good seasons to make up for the shortcomings around them.

Defensive midfield is still an issue for them too and they have yet to find a proper replacement for Fabinho.

They'll likely be top four, but I can see them falling off like they did at the back end of last season.

Just checked the Wrexham score :?

Just checked the Man U score.

Still, Man Us ownership issues have led them to be under a perennial transfer embargo and have faced continual points deductions.

I mean, why else would such a rich fcuking club be so constantly shit :?:
