rabidbee Didn't Blyth basically end it with football at one point last season because it was all taking so long?

Yeah possibly tbf. I am trying to be more level headed these days (at times).

How about we all agree to just not post anything else about this pissing takeover until it is actually officially, formally announced as complete.

And save ourselves all a lot of stress.

rabidbee One more page Brogue.

Indeed quite the milestone. Then I’m looking at the 258 page mark. Which means this thread overtakes the ‘Thames sport investment’ thread and will move into 4th on the all time list of biggest ever threads on the team board. Only beaten by

The academy thread
Rival watch
And Comfimred new owners of Reading Football Club. Dating back from 2013

But of course 11 years ago this place had far more active users. So it’s difficult to compare.

In the last 3 years, Brogue seems to be the most ITK person on here, i won't believe it until they post to confirm its been completed, even if Rob Couhig personally knocks on my door waving a deed of ownership in my face.

I hope that isn't a euphemism.

Yeah it’s an impressive page count considering the first couple of posts were so inept

FL reportedly want a minimum 250 page thread on HNA on the takeover before green lighting the deal.

The day that Rob Couhig becomes this Forum's "newest member" is the day the takeover will happen (Do you think he even knows that Hobnob exists?)

So another year and a half at least given the amount of time it takes new users to be approved on here.

I saw him reading this very thread on his tablet/laptop in the Purple Turtle the other night.

Was having problems with his online banking site too, kept getting timed out whilst trying to transfer £80m to someone.

£80m! I think he's getting ripped off.

That's unless he's buying Haaland.

I think the journos found out at half-time, but it wasn't officially announced until after the game.

I've still not heard anything from any of my sources (BBC radio Berkshire and HNA) so nothing yet, sorry.

Will let you know as soon as I do.
