windermereROYAL Anybody know what cover we have at CB if we get injuries there? i know we have Dean, but who else?

Abraham Kanu. Or if full backs are fitter, bring Dorsett into the middle.

On Azeez, doesn’t sound too serious, though things like this used to keep players out for ages before last season.

Is Stickland still knocking around? Does Holzman play CB?

We've defintely got options, if just not the crazy amount we started last season with.

Both are around and play CB.

Would say Stickland didn't look ready at Woking, but it's only one game and can't draw too much from it. IIRC, Holzman played RB at Cardiff so hasn't played at CB with the first team in any context thus far.

I'm sure they could both do a job if we needed them to.

Sutekh Camara out until mid September with a badly twisted ankle.

At least we've got an international break in that time - he'll miss Charlton and maybe be back for Leyton Orient at home.

Reuben said 4 weeks on 17 August so might just miss the Orient game.

Presuming it is concussion, Tyler Bindon is likely to be out until the Bolton visit on 21st September.

Thought it was 10 days?

He is 19 and apparently FL guidelines say players aged 19 or younger have double the “break” that older players get.

Mount Pleasant Football Academy goalkeeper Shaquan Davis has been called up to the Reggae Boyz squad to replace Coniah Boyce-Clarke, who has been recalled by his club Reading FC in the English Football League.

An injury to one of Reading's first team goalkeepers prompted Boyce-Clarke's withdrawal from the squad, according to a Jamaica Football Federation statement.

It's going to be Pereira isn’t it.

I can only hope it's related to Button.

Why are we recalling him for another player's injury anyway? We're not playing any competitive games during the international break. :?

The only thing I can think off is him coming back from Central America (Jamaica play in Honduras on Wednesday morning - our time) takes too long for the player to be ready for Saturday?

Risk of injury, needed back for training if he's going to be starting.

If he's going to be starting that suggests Pereira's got injured and Button still isn't available?

It might just be because we’re allowed to and it’s to our advantage, even if he just ends up sitting on the bench on Saturday.

I really hope its not Pereira injured but fear it is due to recall....we're already without Bindon next week so I guess Dean is starting.

Bindon is only 1 game due to the extended concussion protocol for teenagers, right? No doubt this will bite me, but at least it is, on paper, a weaker opposition at home.
