So they started weighting that as well to ensure the big names and clubs of football win that too  surely if a bert smith from Paisley, playing at tier 10 or something, won it then that's because he's achieved something really memorable against players of his own standard not just because he happens to play for a billy big bollox club in a billy big bollox league. So much for inclusivity.

Newells Old Boys is named as such because an Englishman, Isaac Newell, went over and set up life for himself there and later on he opened a school, called Colegio Comercial Anglicano Argentino

When he opened it he designed a coat of arms with different symbols on, and which was which was half red, for England, and half black, for Germany, as his wife was German

As well as being the English teacher he was passionate about football and organised matches for the school. in the early 1900's some former pupils decided they wanted to create a club to go into the football league and so created a club exclusively for former staff and pupils of the school and in honour of Isaac Newell they called it Newells Old Boys. They came up with their own badge using the colours from the school coat of arms.

Their first ever match

Their rival is Rosario Central, which was set up a football team exclusively for the railway workers, and was named after the British company they worked for - The Central Argentine Railway

Winston Biscuit Hugo Sanchez 89/90 record goal scoring season for Real Madrid, where he scored 38 league goals, were all scored with a single touch

On discovering this week that RoI's manager Heimir Hallgrímsson is a qualified dentist, it seems only fair to point out that Hugo Sanchez also has a degree in Dentistry.
