Man City are fcuking horrible side to watch. Second half they look absolutely clueless. Awful stuff.

Orion1871 Strange thing to single Guardiola out for when he's currently against Arteta who is the worst in the league for tantrums.

Makes you want Spurs to do well, those two

Ange is a decent guy on the whole, refreshing change

Can’t say that

Pep has “transformed” the game

It’s *interesting (well, not really) how rarely City seem to win against the other big teams. Just 2 wins from 10 last season against the top 6 and another draw today (although they only lost 2 out of those other 8 games)

Compared to the other 14 teams where they picked up 79 points from a possible 84

Just 47 points from his last 32 league games.

Great goal scorer that Haaland is that doesn`t stop him being a total cunt when things are not going his way including throwing the ball forcefully at Gabriel`s head when the leveller went in.
But of course he won`t be punished for it.

Perhaps naively, I think he might be.

More chance of City being seriously done for their rule breaches.

he does come across as being quite an unpleasant person (I imagine there are far more people at the top of sport who are like that though tbf, its part of what has got them to where they are)

that bit was very lolz though tbf

Tbf Arsenal were proper shithousers yesterday. I have agree with Haaland's charging into and levelling Thomas Partey, a proper cunt off the pitch, policy.

Yeah, his 'who the fcuk are you?' directed at Arsenal's (17 year old) Myles Lewis-Skelly just screamed arrogance. Not a great look.

At the final whistle Jesus tried talking to him and you could hear him saying something like 'get the f*ck out of my face'

Agreed with Roy Keane yesterday after the other pundits had gone OTT about Arsenal's defensive performance.

It has happened time and again at all levels of football that 10 men, not concerned with trying to score a goal, can hold out against 11 men.
City , as Liverpool have found out already this season v Forest and in previous seasons, struggled to break down a side with the opposition limiting their intent to having all 10 players behind the ball.

Yesterday I thought that Walker was a bit lax in defending for that free kick but this morning he said that the ref had called him over-in those circumstances Oliver should have allowed him to get back in position IMHO before blowing the whistle.
Great finish by the Italian though.

Also agreed with Phil Thompson -let the media go on and on about the title being just between these two sides.
Meanwhile on Merseyside the 3rd contender gets on quietly with winning football matches.

My issue with what Keane and co said, is that if Arsenal had held out for around 30 seconds more, those same people would be hailing it a defensive masterclass for the ages and Arteta some kind of genius

Fair enough but so far they haven't faced anyone likely to finish in the Top 8.

We'll have a better view where Liverpool are at the end of October. Their next two should also be two wins (Wolves and Palace away), and then after the international break Chelsea come to Anfield, then it's a trip to Arsenal. Ten points from those four games, and you'd have to put them in with a title shot.

Again notwithstanding their opponents, they will be happiest at the goals conceded column - just one so far, being Forest's winner.

The non-intervention by VAR on the Lisandro Martinez challenge is utterly bizarre.

This is serious foul play, eventual contact or not.

Brighton keeper got away with one too - albeit I guess on that one because it might not have been a red card offence.

They tend to do ok when playing the better sides but have not always performed so well against the lesser sides.
City and Arsenal however tend to beat the lesser sides and don't so often do as well against the better teams.

Unlike some of the pundits pre-season who were predicting that Liverpool wouldn't even make the top 4 I feel that already it will just be the 3 again with the only issue being the order of finishing.

Love Roy Keane being holier than thou, I`m old enough to remember him trying to deliberately trying to break an opposing players leg when something went against him, in this case Haaland`s old man.
He could start an argument in an empty room, I find it odd that virtually all the sky pundits have played for Liverpool or Manchester clubs.
