windermereROYAL Great goal scorer that Haaland is that doesn`t stop him being a total cunt when things are not going his way including throwing the ball forcefully at Gabriel`s head when the leveller went in.
But of course he won`t be punished for it.

Tbf Arsenal were proper shithousers yesterday. I have agree with Haaland's charging into and levelling Thomas Partey, a proper cunt off the pitch, policy.

Would it be churlish to suggest that, having played for Red Bull Salzburg, Dortmund and Man City, he's too used to getting it all his own way and doesn't like it up him?

I'm inclined to agree with Roy Keane absolutely it him.

Rodri out for the rest of the season with a knee injury. Guy has only lost one match for club or country in 18 months, huge blow for City.

They lost 4 out of 5 games he missed last season.

Despite the disappointment of the late goal on Sunday it's hard to imagine a better day for Arsenal's title ambitions.

(PS It absolutely baffles me why, when there's a very big chance it's an ACL injury, the physios let the player walk off the pitch. Just that simple motion can exacerbate the injury and lead to a longer recovery.)

Bad news for Rodri, probably the most influential player in English football over the past 2 seasons.
Arsenal will see Sunday as having been an even better day now for their title chances and Liverpool fans might feel the same about their own chances.

So, post-rain, AFC Wimbledon's pitch is, well, it's a thing.

Literally know nothing about this sort of thing, but might it be wrong to suggest there was too much sand used here?

Remember Windass, remember Suarez? Well now there's Preston striker Milutin Osmajic under investigation for attempting to eat Liverpool loanee Owen Beck in the club's 0-0 v Blackburn on Sunday.

Arsenal's Jack Porter set to the become one of the youngest goalkeepers in English domestic football history tonight - at 16 years and 72 days old he will make his debut in the Carabao Cup, with David Raya rested, Neto cup-tied and Arsenal's regular third choice Tommy Setford injured, with one-time Reading-er Karl Hein on loan in Spain.

Don't particularly have anywhere for this, so here will do. Interesting read in the Guardian about the North Korea women's U20 team, that haven't just won the age group World Cup, but pretty much obliterated everyone in their path. Despite their isolation, North Korea has long been a decent side in the women's game, but nevertheless this result is on the back of a FIFA ban some years ago after players tested positive for steroids. A new team, incredible results.

Rodri confirmed out for the season. Knowing Pep's Midas touch this will probably just be the making of John Stones the defensive midfielder.

Mr Over-thinker will likely play the 3rd choice keeper there or summat, right?!

And they'll probably still win 5-0.

But yeah, I think it'll be mostly like Kovacic, or if not Stones.

It would be very 2024 if Man City players warm up with some kind of Rodri support t-shirts on. I am going to cringe a lot if it happens

18 games between the three newly promoted sides, 0 wins between them so far

Think Ipswich will just about be OK but Leicester and in particular Southampton are destined to drop

Southampton’s style is suicide in this league. Players aren’t remotely good enough for it and was always going to happen under Martin. Won’t last much longer

*17 games, to be pedantic, as Ipswich and Southampton played each other.

Agreed on Ipswich, they have looked decent enough. Gave Liverpool some problems, and four draws on the bounce includes holding Villa, Brighton and Fulham. Next four are West Ham, Everton, Brentford and Leicester. Chance to get a couple of wins on the board.

Southampton defender Jack Stephens has been banned for two matches after calling the fourth official a 'f***ing little c**t' after his red card against Manchester United.

He also called the referee 'a c**t' when he was sent off.

I would be a fan of banning him for longer and using it as an example to others of just how unacceptable this treatment of officials is
