Vision Let’s be honest there’s little likelihood that anyone involved isn’t a pcunt in some form or another . Dai has been a damaging one but Couhig didn’t really give me any better vibes than Storey or the German bloke.
The whole Purple Turtle/Twitter presence always seemed a little “try hard” for me. We know his consortium last an investor during the process so it wouldn’t be a massive surprise if they tried to restructure again.
It’s out of our hands so I’ll try to embrace the fact that on the pitch we appear to have something worth supporting and hope behind the scenes gets sorted in time. I flew over for the Blackpool game because I had a very genuine fear it would be our last game in our current form.
We’re still going so there’s life in this old dog of a club yet.

It was a bit of a Michael Knighton moment.

windermereROYAL Missed Saturday because of the early kick off and possible match disruption that didn`t happen, like a few of the others have mentioned I`m through with this long drawn out sage, I`ll be back in my seat tonight to support the team, why worry about something we have zero control over?

Mr Angry The 5 stages of grief:
Denial: "This can't be happening!!!"
Anger: "How the f**k has this been allowed to happen!!"
Bargaining: "If we get relegated and Dai goes, things will get better"
Depression: "We are f**ked"
Acceptance: "why worry about something we have zero control over?"

Aren't we missing an irrational optimism stage? "I'm sure Dai will act in his own best financial interests".
Or is that part of denial?

WestYorksRoyal People need to stop kidding themselves that they're at the acceptance stage. If it was announced this afternoon that we were being liquidated, your response would not be "meh".
I've accepted that this uncertainty will continue and that I can't affect it, but there is still sn underlying assumption that it will be sorted one day. When that day is, what happens in between and who owns us afterwards I can't control.

Of course it would be devastating if we got wound up, that`s a no brainer, but for most of us the last year has been hope disappointment hope disappointment time and time again, it`s probably best to just concentrate on what happens on the field of play rather than off of it,
Then sometime hopefully in the not so distant future we`ll have something to really celebrate off of it.
