I think the acceptance stage is not when you when you "accept" anything that might happen, it's when you accept there's little or nothing you can do about it, so constant anxiety is pointless. You accept the situation, not the outcome.

Reading are the target of a takeover bid from another Chinese businessman with under-fire owner Dai Yongge renewing his attempts to sell up.

i has learned that Benny Kwong, who runs a Hong Kong-based gas company that operates throughout China, has held talks with Dai about buying the cash-strapped League One club.

Kwong is the managing director of Blue River Holdings, whose businesses include the distribution of gas and property investments in China.

Well the EFL would protect us from that. They learned from the Wigan fiasco a few years ago, and any buyer who needs to put us into administration as part of their business plan has no chance.

I think most of the "ITKs" do genuinely know someone. The trouble is events move quickly and you can only truly be sure of events if you can see inside Dai's head.

So just say quiet until it's done. Haven't they all been burned enough times in this saga already?

There's not a hope this would even go through. The EFL faced continual criticism and I'm sure even they would see this a mile off. Even though it would mean Dai isn't the owner, he's just too close to those involved to give the deal any integrity at all.

Whoever buys this club, I'm just sick to death of these greedy bar stewards who have no affiliation or interest in us wanting to take the club over. Years of it now.

I don't even want millions of pounds invested. Just stability, the odd repair and improvement, a well run club. Importantly also, with decent senior figures within the club who can actually communicate properly, aren't caught betting illegally, etc.
