Can't help but feel that someone writes a half sentence on a social site, a bot picks it up and uses chatGPT to flesh out an 'article' on it (which is mostly just fluff and rewording, to make it sound like they're ITK). Then other bots pick it up and do the same. In that fleshing-out process, the wording becomes a bit vague and certain details are hinted at, that weren't ever in the initial comment. Eventually, we have what looks like a fully fledged takeover ready to go, when in reality, Bob Jenkins was overheard telling Shaun Smith at the Shoulder of Mutton, that his mate at the club had seen someone he didn't recognise walking into the chairman's office. 2024, what a time to be alive, huh?
