It doesn't help, of course, that in the case of incidents that are proven, or at least evidenced, like Mason Greenwood's documented abuse, cases get dropped because the victim feels pressured, or it seems in Greenwood's case, the victim is so abused that she'd rather retain her lifestyle than regain her dignity.

What actual proof do you have of this (mostly your second statement)? The CPS could have pursued the case if there was sufficient evidence or if they believed it was in the public interest to do so.
I would have preferred that this case went to trial and a verdict reached, one way or another!
