It also didn't help that he played in the same role as Norwood, who was probably the best midfielder in the league, and his skillset made him pretty much completely unsuitable for any other role.

Saw Olise play very early on, can’t remember if it was an u18 game or an u21. He came on as a sub and he was clearly an exceptional talent although would never have predicted he’d be at Bayern. No idea what ‘not being convinced’ means. Trying to over analyse perhaps ? He looked at prospect from the start.
