Thought the pitch was looking dreadful today - worst I’ve seen it in 20 years.

However, didn’t seem to impact the quality of the goals or goalline clearances!

Remember the Stam season 1? That was the worst I’ve seen it, it was disgrace

Today it cut up quite a lot - maybe due to the heavy morning rain? But still didn’t think it played too badly overall

There were a couple of seasons where it had rugby on as well and we skimped a bit on maintenance where is was dreadful. Didn't we have to relay it a couple of seasons in a row?

I’m pretty certain it’s only been used for football and rugby. Unless you count holding the final stages of the Reading half marathon.
It can be a vibrant as any ground, it can be quiet and a bit dull. Perhaps he’s only been there when we played Peterborough, perhaps that is the issue !
