Yeah ref the inevitable time you don't give a free kick for a defender falling over.

Christ, how did we survive that second half?

Injury time aged me a decade.

No idea how Exeter didn't score at the end there.

Game of two halves.

First half Exeter were slow and poor, we were high octane and could have had a hatful, but didn’t.

Second half they were high octane and we were slow and disorganised and they could have had a hatful.

We took more of our chances.

Minimum of. Very common to go beyond the minutes announced.

Pepe the Horseman Watched Exeter against Shrewsbury and the Exeter keeper kept them in it with some ridiculous saves. Expect we'll win this comfortably.

Enjoyed that. Obviously had Exeter scored one of their many chances it’d been awful viewing but something special about holding on for a win like that

Lost the plot a bit second half, should have scored the third a few times ourselves, esp Savage at the start which would have killed the game

Still Great result, well done all

You got it half right, it was far from comfortable.

Great 1st half performance. Perhaps fortunate to hold on, but get yourselves 2 goals ahead and you normally win games.

You can see why they've started well. Moved the ball well second half and made it very difficult to get into the game.

I'll say a pleasantly surprising 1-2 win to us.

Outstanding last ditch challenge by Dean.

Dean is winning me over. Obviously he lost his place alongside Hutchinson after Shrewsbury last season, and perhaps I harshly judged them together. At the end of last season, I'd have happily seen him not make another appearance. But he's playing a role for us this season and hasn't let us down yet. It's good to have a couple of experienced heads, and when Mbengue gets his suspension for 5 yellows I'll trust Dean to start.

If you'd have watched the Shrewsbury v Exeter game this wouldn't have been surprising. It was pleasant though, so half a point.
