Next 4 league games are away! Ouch. Some tough places to go as well.

This team have potential to be a promotion winning side but we need to improve our game management

Huddersfield, Exeter and Barnsley can get above Reading on GD in this PM’s remaining games. Barnsley are at Shrewsbury while Exeter travel to Huddersfield. If Hudds and Exeter draw and Barnsley don’t have a massive 3 goal+ win then Reading will stay 5th.

Tuesday’s opponents, Stockport, are at Lincoln. A win for them would put them a point behind Reading.

Nice to sit in the playoff zone at any point of the season but much nicer to be there with 1/4 of the games remaining (better yet with none left!) than with only 1/4 done. Still, better to be near the lead in the marathon than at the back of the pack. Now if there was only nice solid chap to be a buyer . . .

I've seen a few comments this season from opposition fans about how we "celebrate like we've won the cup".

Let me put that in context:

Our owner is slowly strangling the club, we're not allowed to sign any players and outside a core of 10 or 11 players, our squad is bulked out with teenagers with fcuk all experience, we've been deducted points been under a transfer embargo for 3 years, we've faced winding up petitions and at times, the players haven't known whether they will get paid or not.

However, we win games, play decent football and the playing and coaching squad have a fantastic rapport with the fans. We celebrate every win like it could be our last and, despite everything, we're still here.

This may not be the best team we've ever had but I think we're all proud of them.

A 9 point week. When was the last time we had a 9 point week?

Yes but we were here 2 years ago - in fact our record under Ince that year is identical to now W7 D1 L4.

If I was fat enough to wear an XXXXL I'd have this printed on a T-shirt.

We're not celebrating because we beat Exeter or Bristol Rovers, were celebrating because we still have a team to celebrate.

At the start of the season I'd have said Pereira is a decent, competent L1 keeper who is our best option, but not a world beater.

Now I'd say he must be in the top band of L1 keepers, and still has room to improve. There is no way we get 6 points from the last 2 games without him.

Wycombe and Reading are in the play-off places.
Is it written in the stars?
Couhig manages to unglue the club from Dai's horribly sticky fingers and we meet his former club at Wembley!

Agree and I have not enjoyed supporting a team so much for 10+ years.

It really is a case of enjoying every moment we can, while we can. We've had a really shit decade on the pitch and a truly dreadful three years off it. And we all know liquidation proceedings could start at any point.

Snowflake Royal Very harsh on Savage, but for a home game there's more sense to it.

Quality of Elliott back in- no brainer :D

Big of you to apologise in the week, I have to say.

Glen Little’s man of the match today - the evidence keeps growing !
