Someone will take a punt on him at some point, but Cardiff feels very much like a frying pan/fire situation in the making.

...a number of names have been discussed, one of whom is Ruben Selles.
He will certainly form a chunky segment of the hierarchy's discussions.
it is understood that it is increasingly unlikely that the 56-year-old Bookmakers' favourite Slaven Bilic , who is back home in his native Croatia, will take the job.

Royal_jimmy Cardiff wouldn't be a good move for Selles. No disrespect to them but he can do far better

The only other manager with a 10/1 or shorter price with any bookmaker at the time of writing is Reading coach Ruben Selles (10/1), best known for an ill-fated spell with Southampton between February and May 2023 when he recorded just two wins from 17 matches.

retro royal I'd take Robins if Selles was to go, the chairman at Coventry seems like a right idiot, from what I read yesterday "The chairman did everything he could to undermine Robins. Got rid of his assistant. Brought in new coaches. Appointed a woman with a background in swimming & a doctorate in engineering as head of football. The telling part is the statement "the new appointment will have the title Head Coach rather than Manager"
