It's almost like changing your formation to fit in a player that you don't need has a negative effect on team performance.

I couldn't be happier. Mbappe is a quality player, but his club career is a whole lot of meaningless nothing. Think what he could do at a United, or Milan, or any of a whole host of clubs that aren't the homogenous mass that is CityRealPSG.
