From Despair To Where? I think I've said it before but the BBC Scotland pundits and commentators are a cut above the usual suspects. James McFadden is excellent IMO (as is Neil McCann but he's not in Germany) and Rachel Corsie is proving that there are decent female pundits.
Moyes and Hart were decent value as well.

LUX I like Lineker.
I suppose he IS overpaid, but he presents very well and, I’ll be honest, I tend to agree with his political positions.
He has the right mix of “enthusiastic fan” and very successful ex pro who played at the highest level, including at Barcelona.

I do not like Gary Lineker as I find him smug, uncharismatic and tedious. That is an opinion, I can accept others may thing he's wonderful and that is their opinion. Life is about opinions and the ability for those to be debated sanely at all levels.
Personally could not give a shiny shite what his politics are or what he likes or dislikes but do find him speaking up on matters unconnected with his sports punditry tiresome and makes the BBC look stupid when some of those things appear at odds with BBC policy and yet he doesn't get censured for it.

So you don’t like his politics then.

Doesn't middle age pass you by quick? (He says, entering middle age).
Lineker was 38 when he took the job on Match of the Day. 63 now, he's done 25 years in the role.
