From Despair To Where? Is that why Sidwell wouldn't sign a new contract?

Because Lita kept knocking on his door and running away?

Azeez gets first Millwall goal to put a spanner into the Sunderland bandwagon.

Championship seems close this season, top team barely hitting 2pts a game right now.

Jordan Obita sets up the opener after 2 minutes then gets sent off after 12 for an ankle breaker tackle as shambolic Hibs lose again.

McCarthy taking a lot of flack from commentators for his role in the Liverpool goal.

Out of interest - i'm assuming that he's our academy player with the most Premier League appearances?

Well he was being a dick. Should have kicked it long, better to lose the ball up the other end than 10 foot in front of you.

And now for the second goal as well.

Just flapped at a corner too.

Glenn Murray commentating on 5live. Everybody has a “cultured” foot, or, in exceptional cases, is a “cultured” footballer. Twenty times so far, mid second half.

He is also announced as the “ex Palace and Brighton” player. I want all his clubs listed.

Didn't he only do about half a season for us?

I explain where I’m coming from in my edit. And I spell his name correctly.

Yeah and no mention of the quick distribution by him that led to the Saints goal.

Incidentally Arsenal got rid of Ramsdale because he wasn't good enough with his feet and he goes to a team that plays that way.
Also the defender was telling McCarthy to give the ball to the player who subsequently lost possession.

Sigurdsson presumably.

Yeah - easily 318 appearances for Sigurdsson compared to 150 for McCarthy. Robson-Kanu (94) and Olise (82) are the only others to have above 50 appearances.

EDIT: As pointed out below, Shane Long has 344 appearances (17,807 minutes). Sigurdsson played more minutes in the Premier League than Long (23,154). McCarthy has played 13,466 minutes; Olise 5,169; Robson-Kanu 3,324.

Shane Long?

I often forget he's officially an academy graduate - he has 344 Premier League appearances (17,807 minutes).
