though we'd fold at the end, so seeing this as a solid point won. happy with that.

4 points from 2 tough away games is a terrific return. Especially as we didn't play great tonight.

Win vs Cambridge next Tuesday please.

Not getting too excited but I'm encouraged by the improvement in our away form. We've managed 8 points from 5 difficult away games (Exeter, Stockport, Stevenage, Posh and tonight with only one defeat). That's more than most of us expected. I hope we can continue having a fortress at home.

Royal Ginger
Snowflake Royal Take that all day long. Probably fair result.

Happily take it but think it’s a wee bit rough on Barnsley.

Deserved point. Smith’s second should have been a penalty anyway if he’d missed.

Happy with a point, especially as we managed to score both of our real chances. Barnsley really should've scored at least four with the chances they had though.

Well considering we gifted them both their goals a draw was the least we deserved.

Perfectly set up for us to end it.

I'd like to see them go up, means one of Wrexham or Birmingham will face the play offs and hopefully stay down.

Wycombe play Wealdstone on Saturday (noon kick off so presumably on tv for those that want to see how they’re playing). Their next league game is a trip to Exeter on Tuesday (while Reading huff and puff v Cambridge). Then it’ll be time for the big local derby of the league.

4 points from 2 away games in 3 days is a great return; last season that would have been 0 points.

Very open game, but blimey - we can play some good footbal at times, and always pose a threat when we go forward.

It's not. As things stand, players will be sold in January to keep us afloat, we'll fall into mid table, then at the end of the season contracts will expire and we'll be facing another rebuild/relegation battle.

Selles and the team are doing a great job showing would be buyers that there is a coaching set up and team worth investing in. They're doing all they can to put the club in the shop window. But they can't save us and eventually off the pitch matters will become too great.

Hopefully things happen at the boardroom level that really allows the phoenix to rise.

Sadly this is more the reality - the team are doing a great job and to be 7th after a third of the season is testament to them and the coaching staff - to do so ending with a defence on the field aged 16, 17, 19 and 21 is fantastic. However, unless something moves up top, the whole staff are essentially putting themselves in the shop window.

As it has been for what feels like centuries now, we reach another crossroads in 5 or so weeks time - we either get to a stage where a deal is done with someone and we can move forward or we end up selling more player than we would like and hope that the talent in the Academy can keep up the levels.

Not until the owner finally ***** off it can’t. God knows what mess the club can look forward to by February if the gentleman is still not selling.

Listen to Mystic meg there, did you get confused and visit here instead of twitter?

You know nothing apart from guesswork fella, we all know what COULD happen, but there is nothing in your post to say you know it WILL happen.
