Officiating screw-ups, unclear subs rules, terrible play, random pinging around the box. This is like a CONCACAF game, just missing a cut-up pitch.

ROKERITE
WestYorksRoyal Great, ET is just what we need with our next game on Tuesday. This is definitely on Selles. Kanu did alright at Peterborough, but plenty of signs he's not ready.

Why are you playing Tuesday rather than Wednesday? At least it would seem your first choice players are either not involved at all or playing only part of the game today.

We had the option to play on Wednesday, Roker. However, given the priorities of the league, the club chose to play Tuesday instead. Bearing in mind that we have Cambridge at home on Tuesday, prior to an away game at Wycombe next Saturday. Quick check of the table makes it seem like a prudent decision.

Fair play to Harborough. Their players have done them credit in their big day out

Well done Harborough.

Came with a plan, executed it pretty well. Played their absolute hearts out. What should have been a big fitness and ability difference simply didn't show up. We had no answer to their size and physical presence. So, so nearly for them. Huge credit deserved.

And they weren't even massive shithouse pcunts like Eastleigh were.

Apparently the extra sub rule in ET is quarter final or later.

Another stupid rule, why not the same in every round?

They forgot to update the rules when they removed replays for rounds 1 to 4?

Thank you for the reply. Yes, it does seem a wise choice.

Kanu is the most obvious case of a player not being ready since Ethan Bristow.

Wareham is a 4-4-2 striker in the 4-3-3 age.

Tuma and Akande both probably fine with a more dangerous player on the other side, but the two of them together don’t offer enough creativity.

I get the fact that Harborough were denied a replay at their place, but at 90 mins they had us at 11 v 10 with half an hour to play, some of them may have preferred ET at that point.

They weren’t really denied a replay, they knew that wasn’t an option before the game

Both teams may have set up differently if they thought it could go to a replay

One of the commos talked about a friend who'd played in a big NL vs L FA Cup tie where they got a late equaliser to go to replay, and they always regretted not going for the win when they had the chance. They got stuffed in the replay.

Chem has done well since he`s been here, is it 5 goals? a few assists too, don`t know if he`ll be here after January though.
