Mr Angry Harborough Town's average home attendance is 369 and that includes 1,600 for the recent visit of Bury.

Pretty meaningless though when it comes to their “big day”, they’ll possibly bring 10 times that average.

Just like any club below the second tier then, including Reading. Any one know the season home league average for when we took 45,000?, wasn't it, to Wembley to win the Simod Cup?

6,945 - so the 45,000ish we took to Wembley was about 6.5 times our average and that's keeping in mind we wanted tickets beyond what we got for that game.

Funnily enough, big games attract those who attend every game, those who attend some games, those who casually attend a few games, locals who vaguely like football but don't attend any games and the family and friends of all of the above.

Biggest league attendance that season was 10274 v Boringmuff, 2 more for that than the visit of Manchester City! Lowest league attendance was 4755 v Blackburn. Biggest home attendance was 15348 for the semi final v Coventry.

Memorable season that, not just for the Simod but for picking up well after Xmas and seeing the excellent David Madden (and not quite so excellent) David Cowling.

katweslowski Will be interesting to see how many we sell in the home areas. I saw some whinging about ticket prices.

So far we've sold around 1,500 so far by the looks of it - that's significantly up on what we had sold for the Fleetwood game at this point.

It will be a game where we sell a lot of home tickets fairly late on - would be good if we could get to 5,000 home fans.

Harborough have sold just shy of 3000 tickets and received the last extra 500 from RFC yesterday bringing their total allocation to 3500.

I know i am being naieve here and unrealistic, but it's a shame we currently are nowhere near the 5000 figure, and most likely won't get to that.

This is the sort of game where people will end up buying tickets late. the same is true for most low attendance cup matches, as people aren't at any risk of not getting tickets.

Based on my estimate, we've sold just under 2,200; a week out from the Fleetwood game, we'd sold roughly 725 and ended up selling 3,592 home tickets. At the very least, we should end up selling more than we did for the Fleetwood game.

People may well be waiting to see what the weather's like next and buying on the day.

The forecast is currently warmer than it's been over the past week (10-11C) and overcast, so hopefully that won't putting anyone off.

I imagine a number of people will realise there's a game a couple of days before, especially season ticket holders remembering they have to buy a ticket for this.

I've got an estimate of just over 2,400 sold for this to our fans (notwithstanding disabled and hospitality tickets) - so over three times more sold so far at this point for Fleetwood.

Harborough announced they had 150 tickets remaining of their ~3,500 allocation at their most recent update yesterday morning. They played a home game (4-1 win over Banbury), so I wouldn't be surprised if they've sold them all since that update.

Tickets are shifting a bit more rapidly now - around 2,800 sold (an advance of 400 in just under two days).

    Harrogate Town - 4
    Salford City - 4
    Accrington Stanley - 4
    Tamworth - 5
    Dagenham & Redbridge - 5
    Charlton Athletic - 3
    Wigan Athletic - 3
    Peterborough United - 3
    Doncaster Rovers - 4
    Bromley - 4
    Wycombe Wanderers - 3
    Bristol Rovers - 3
    Exeter City - 3
    Lincoln City - 3
    Morecambe - 4
    Mansfield Town - 3
    Stockport County - 3

3rd round composition of 64 clubs

    20 tier 1
    24 tier 2
    12 tier 3

Dagenham and Tamworth are the only remaining non league sides. Looking forward to managing to avoid a glamour tie and getting a trip to Morecambe.

You ideally want either a lower ranked side to boost chances of getting more prize money or a "glamour" home tie.

So either Dagenham/Tamworth at home, or one of the big PL clubs, who will play the kids and therefore we might be able to shcok them (or go to Pens).

So we'll get an away game at Birmingham.

Accrington Stanly away would be brilliant for 92 Club hopefuls.

Making money is all important so United away please. Full house plus guaranteed live TV and could mean not having to sell anyone next month.

It will be Preston away though....

Having just knocked out, I believe, the lowest placed team in the second round, it would be amusing to knock out (be knocked out by) the highest placed team.

Liverpool away please.

Tamworth is a surprisingly good away day.

Last time I went, mate and I sat down outside the clubhouse and we got a genuine 'during the war' story from this old fella we were sat near.

Old castle, capital of mercia, several good pubs (paging Green to thread on https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-s ... e-67949548) plus Kings' Ditch micropub.

Selfishly, I want a hope game - guaranteed a ticket and no schlepping across half the country. And not the red side of Manchester either - I want one of the really big clubs, not mid-table.

Spurs would be nice, 'cause I reckon on the right day we could beat them, and I've never liked them.
