Armadillo Roadkill Selfishly, I want a hope game - guaranteed a ticket and no schlepping across half the country. And not the red side of Manchester either - I want one of the really big clubs, not mid-table.

Spurs would be nice, 'cause I reckon on the right day we could beat them, and I've never liked them.

Say you want a really big club, implying Utd are not a really big club then say you’d like Spurs

Worst of all worlds. Good enough to beat us comfortably, boring enough that nobody will care.

Groan, worse home draw imaginable.

I agree. It's the sort of tie that if we lose it, it doesn't matter; if we win it, it's a bonus.

Any luck they'll be focused on the league and put out their reserves to face Button and co.

They might well chuck it as the Prem is their goal this season. Hope they tell us in advance so we can put out a decent side and win!!

It's not a great draw. It hasn't got the appeal of a top Premier League side, nor the winnability of playing one of the lower ranked teams.

If we win the press would spin it as an off day for Burnley. If we lose it'll would just be seen as just a routine result.

Play our strongest side and we can certainly win it but a difficult draw indeed. 3rd time in 20 years we've been drawn against Burnley at home.

Could have done with an away tie at a prem club really to get some money in.

A pretty decent draw.
Home.
Burnley 100% focused on promotion.
Our first-ish 11 against their second string/kids really should nudge it.
Bigger rewards still for being in R4.
No fear with this one.

No excuse not to play a strong 11 this time given we have Sat games either side rather than league midweek games.

Well the takeover will be done by the time this is played. So there shouldn’t be any worry of a thin squad with players we should be able to bring in, in Jan.

I don't understand the main stream media (I hate that phrase).

I caught the end of the draw and heard them say something like:

"I knew they'd be a massive draw, I just didn't expect that!!"

I was confused and then heard them say it was arsenal Vs man united

They were creaking themselves over it and even sarcastically said "I wonder if that'll be televised?!!"

Is it me or is that just not that interesting? Two teams who play each other at least twice a tear for the last 100000 years are once again playing, at the first opportunity in the cup.

Yawn

Definitely Dullsville Arizona. Losers get £25000

Tamworth have a winnable tie too and it’ll be on the telly (along with Arse v Utd and I reckon they’ll put Citeh v Salford on too  )

The club should refuse to rearrange the Wrexham game, that way we can retain our TV early kick off at 12.30 and just make a double header with Burnley at 3pm. Probably get a lot more fans. Tiredness not a problem for the important game either.
