From Despair To Where? Not really read anything particularly, but much like with United, he was heralded as the perfect replacement for Sky with the deep pockets to fund continued success.
It's more an observation that in the 5 years as Ineos, despite the budget being there, they've gone backwards and more or less abandoned the ethos that made them a great team in the first place. They've completely lost their identity. Maybe the riders aren't there but the whole mentality was to build a team capable of propelling the team leader to titles.
