AthleticoSpizz Dunno, but the likes of Macc and even ‘AFC’ Bury further down the pyramid, regularly get crowds bigger than they ever did in their FL days.
Maybe they are just self-sustaining? (given that their ‘pro’s’ aren’t on FL £ wages)

There are Southern League clubs who have ‘full time’ pro players. Not necessarily the whole squad but there is a player at Totten who rumour has it gets paid more there than when he was at a League 2 club. Club is funded by a wealthy individual who ploughs significant amounts in via his business.

yes, but never taken any notice of them (until your post).bcubed Have you guys heard of Real Bedford in the Southern Central?
Backed by a Bitcoin podcaster who has stated he wants them to get to the Prem. They've had two promotions and most recently American cryptocurrency investors, Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss invested $4.5 million in the club. Currently 2nd in the league.

Sound a bit like a ‘grass roots’ Wrexham, but without the Hollywood.
Must admit, if I were to become a billionaire, I would buy out Dai Yooooooonge, then pump a few million into Reading City for fun.

Royals and Racers Went to Hungerford v Sholing tonight. 2-1 home win lifts Hungerford up to 16th. That’s twice i have seen the Crusaders this season and on both occasions have looked a decent team.Southern league Premier South must be a competitive league this season.
Attendance 180

...view (prob. completeiy unfounded) on NLM, is that relations between the 2 clubs are strained at best.
They are (literally) neighbours and the 'Eagles' (Town) are unlikely to sign up to what might amount to a death warrant by moving closer to Real.
RB probably need to 'acquire' the 'Eyrie' to have a chance of further progress (McMullen Park is a dump) and appear to have (Bitcoin) backing.
They've just beaten closest rivals (Berko) 5-1 - so are definitely moving in the right direction on the pitch.
Some 'interesting' views on TwiX from both sides involved....

Yeh pretty sure both sets of fans are dead against it. Although Real are super ambitious.
For background, I previously posted -
