You're hilarious. It's like having our very own spotty, first beer swigging East Stander on General Football.

Don't drink beer, got no spots and sit in the West Stand. Close.....I find the Liverpool fanbase unbearable...everyone that's ever played for them and been good is considered the greatest ever in their eyes. They are odious. I find it sad that City, United, Arsenal and Chelsea aren't competitive, no doubt this will be the greatest Liverpool side ever.

Close enough. You can always be relied upon for the tribalistic crap.

What tribalistic crap? You seem very judgemental and wrong on so many accounts. I don't like Arsenal but I would rather they win the PL than Liverpool
and all of a sudden I'm rabid gooner..... Hilarious.

Come on, you're one of the most prominent reactionary rage driven posters around here.

It does seem to boil down to who has a good run with injuries which Liverpool have had and Arsenal and City haven't.

Liverpool had the bad luck last year and came nowhere in the end.

Possibly a season too early for Klopp. Difficult to completely rebuild a midfield and get it functioning properly in such a short time frame

Yep. Oxford getting pulled right back into it too by some awful form. Bizarre season - they lost 8 out of 10 from the end of October, then won 5 out of 7, and have now gone 8 without a victory.

Had Oxford going down in an acca, their good run killed it off, but now its come back to life again! (though Chesterfield are also ruining it)

Fair play to Ian Holloway at Swindon. He took over in Oct when they were in 22nd place and has completely turned their season around. They've won 6 of the last 9 and in a 12 match form guide are up in 3rd place. 10 points off the play offs with 10 games to go is probably a stretch too far, but you never know

Two male footballers playing in the top four tiers of English football tested positive for a prohibited substance after matches last season — but both escaped disciplinary sanctions

A Freedom of Information (FOI) request with UK Anti-Doping (UKAD), the independent agency tasked with overseeing testing programmes across all sports, showed that two players tested positive for a banned substance during the 606 tests carried out immediately after games in the Premier League and EFL last season.

Two players also returned positive samples during the 2022-23 season, one after a game and the other during out-of-competition testing. UKAD confirmed that none of the players who tested positive for prohibited substances faced further sanctions
