Snowflake Royal I kinda get it, if you're upfront about it...

Look, we're bringing you in to get us promoted. Do the job, and we'll be looking for someone else to take us forward after that, as your record in the PL isn't great. If we find the right person, you get a massive golden handshake goodbye, but if we don’t we'll give you the chance.

Everyone knows where they are going in.

They do this a bit in Italy.

Unsurprising rumours that Ancelotti may be on his way today

It's amazing that Ange still hasn't been sacked by Tottenham - he's been very lucky to basically last the season.

Yeh, it's gonna be a bit of a pickle if they win the Europa League.

Rumours that Hull are set to replace Selles with Tony Mowbray.

Seems a bit harsh on Selles as he kept them up and if you take a league table based on his time there, they would be 12th,

spoke to a Hull fan a couple of weeks ago and asked what the fans thought. He said people didn't really know what to make as he was taking over such a messy situation and everyone knew it wouldn't suddenly be great, so it was just a case of getting through the season without going down. He did say the one frustration fans have with him is over his substitutions, both the players coming on and off, and the timing of them. Said they don't have a great depth at all over who can make an impact, but he often doesn't do the 'obvious' sub that has proven to make an impact, or does it so late in the game there is no time for them to make an impact.

Bristol Rovers have parted ways with their Manager, Inigo Calderon; not a surprise after 9 defeats in their last 10 games, and relegation after appearing safe in March.

Also, they let all 9 of their OOC players go including Scott Sinclair (though our ex-loanee, Chris Martin, who is injured and receiving treatment has been temporarily retained during his rehab).

Tom Cleverley also sacked at Watford on the back of a poor second half of the season - fixture in the playoff spots until Xmas, after which they lost 13 of 22. Only surprise is that Watford's trigger happy owners didn't go sooner.

And waste no time at all in re-appointing Darrell Clarke who lead Rovers to back to back promotions from National League to League 1 during his first stint there about 10 years back.

100% nailed on definite. Probably only reason Madrid have taken TAA.

Starting to branch out? Been assistant to his dad for a decade or so. Gave up football at 20 to concentrate on management, he’s 35 now

Why anyone would want to be a football manager is beyond me. There's so many stories of managers getting like 16 games then getting sacked. It's a total gamble and rarely is to do with the talent or knowledge of the manager it seems.

It must be so difficult for a manager to move location, walk into a club for the first time, be confronted with 25 unknown players, unknown staff, unknown location and set up, and be expected in 3 days to start winning games that the previous guy couldn't do.

Because if they get sacked, 16 games into a 3 year contract, they get a massive payout?
