Just added it to my MP3 player. The players clearly love it as do the crowd so it's a winner. What's more it seems that most fans know the words so unlike previous attempts it could be a success. My aim for the summer is to learn the words and join in with the rest of you!

M4 Junction 11 Can't you download it from Google Video?
If you search "Reading FC" there's a few video's on there, including a conga from the QPR game :D

I'm able to play the video at http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid ... FC&pl=true, but I can't find any option to download. Am I missing something obvious?

This is what we have been missing since the move to the Madejski! A song we can more or less call our own and i think its fantastic! My flat mate thinks im mental when i emerge from my room after playing Neil Diamond!

We all have a summer to learn the words for the pre match build up in the Premier League, i will never get fed up of saying those magic words next season!

There's a 'Allow users to download this video' option on Google Video ... my guess EastStand has not checked this box

There goes another muppet moaning about plastics

Give it a rest please.... Just because something that you dont like happens does not mean that the people that back it are plastics....

Whilst you are entitled to your opinion so am I and it is my opinion that you should wind your neck in pull your trousers up and give your mouth a chance

So I'm entitled to an opinion, but you don't think that I should express it, but it's OK for you to express yours. Nice logic Mike (something tells me you're not really big).
I'm not moaning about plastics, I'm moaning about a bloody awful Neil Diamond song.

He's no Tom Jones or Gerry and the Pacemakers. Classic type of song for a football anthem. As others have said the players chose this, it will remind all of us about this season and the words to the chorus are very apt. If only Kevin Doyle was called Caroline it would be even better.

I don;t think football chants are chosen for aesthetic reasons.

You may not like neil Diamond, but if the song works (which it does) and people sing along (which they do) swallow you pride and join in.

I have to say it's better to have something fairly MOR that everyone can join in with then be all hip and trendy and pick on eof the silly suggestions that have been made in the past that only someone aged 14-17 knows and no one could sing !
