They'll bring easily 500+ fans, they love to have a go at the English and seeing as we're not too far from London they'd probably make a weekend of it.

Can't wait already.

It seems to me that Reading FC are now starting to resemble the Football Manager game.

Am I right?

Anyone remember the Steau Bucherest (was it them?) friendly back at Elm Park?

Would this be the first time we've played foreign opposition in the UK since then?

They're only coming over to have a closer look at Harps! I wonder how much its costing the club to get them over.

Certainly be there though, great choice of opposition who should have some good quality yet be beatable :D

Just think, 12th August is when the FL kicks off but we'll still be playing friendlies..... does it get any better than this!

They have their own song ... it's a friendly so we should play it if they score :)

AJ~ Great news! From the official Feyenoord site:

Translation anyone? :D

Quick translation

Chelsea to visit the bowl. This was confirmed in todays "Feyenoord Post". Jose Mourinhos star studded team are to play a friendly on the 8th of August against Erwin Koumans team. Season ticket holders will be given a 10% discount. 4 days later Feyenoord travel to England to play a friendly against newly promoted Reading.

Blah blah blah Chelsea.

I don't think this is a "per chance" friendly and subsequently would not be surprised if one or two of the younger Feyenoord players are loaned to yourselves for the coming season. Also wouldn't be very surprised if BC wore red on the 12th.
