The Royals have announced a new partnership with Chupa Chups; the global brand leader in lollipops.

The cornerstone of the partnership is Chupa Chups Soccer PM, a new branding for our Premiership reserve games, including free ticket giveaways to children eligible for our Sevens scheme.

The partnership will also involve other activities including sampling at matches, competitions, and a number of community activities, including coaching by Reading FC professionals at local schools, which is a key component of the Club's own programme.

The Club's Sales & Marketing Manager Boyd Butler said, "We are looking forward to making an event of our reserve games thanks to Chupa Chups.

the rest..................

"We have called this event Soccer PM and we aiming to provide a night of family football fun at Madejski Stadium.

"We hope it will attract families that love football but may not be able to attend first team matches here.

"As well as the 90 minutes of football action against teams such as Chelsea, Spurs and Arsenal, we hope to put on games entertainment, ranging from ball jugglers to Chupa Chups and poster giveaways.

"Games will kick off at 7pm, which is an hour earlier than usual so we hope to enable children to come as a special treat.

"We want to grow as a club and we see Chupa Chups Soccer PM as one way in which we can keep children and their families from the Thames Valley involved.

"We are delighted to have signed up Chupa Chups as a partner in this initiative. We want to create a family, fun atmosphere at Reading and feel that Chupa Chups are an ideal partner to help us achieve this.

"One of the reasons for wanting to work with Chupa Chups is that they offer a range of sugar free lollipops, so we can offer a healthier 'sweet treat' to our supporters."

Chupa Chups Perfetti Van Melle UK Marketing Director Mark Stangroom said, "Chupa Chups is proud to be associated with Reading Football Club.

"Our UK head office is located in Berkshire so they are our local club and we are delighted to be partnering with them at such an exciting time in their history."

It does say matchday sampling rfc_4_life, so I'm guessing they'll be offering bits of lolly to people. Sugar free of course

Will Season Ticket holders still be entitled to free admission to reserve games in The Premiership?

I've not actually seen any Chuppa Chups at any games recently, unless I've been very much mistaken ?.
