Jay Plain and boring!

I think that's what most Reading fans want out of a kit.

If you care about RFC I would urge you to boycott this new shirt in protest against the decision about BBC Berkshire. Give Reading Football Club PLC no more of your money.

If you don't like shirts don't buy them.

The club should be able to look at historical sales and say "This shirt sold really well, let's try and make the next one along the same lines".

Harold The real hoops

What is on the back, though?

Looks like it's hoops all round Spacey. You can just see the seam on the side of the shirt....

Plain blue backs, but the back of the sleeves are white.

I like the shade of blue - a much more traditional Royal blue, and I think the back looks smart too, if a little like Pompey, Birmingham etc in previous years.

The collar I think is passable, not great but it can be overlooked from a distance. The main issue I have with the shirt is the underarm hoops that just break up the shirt too much for my liking. I think the halved arms could have looked good if they were halved on both arms rather than just the right arm

First glance I quite liked the kit.

Agree with others who have said it will be better in short sleeves...

Now that I have looked at it in detail though I think everyone's about right - the sleeves (front and back) are ridiculous, the back's rubbish, the collar's annoying. Basically, the midrift (front only) is good, but the rest is just awful.

I won't be buying it, but still reserve the right to judge it.

I haven't bought shirt for the last 4 seasons and I won't until it's fully hooped. Do other stripey teams like Sheffield U. or Newcastle have the same daft plain back of the shirt? A ridiculous ruling. The front of our shirt is ok but they made a real mess of the sleeves. I still prefer white shorts and socks but thats a minor point. Don't like the collar either. Still it will probably look ok on the pitch at certain angles, will just have to live with it.

Stalking you?

I don't believe I've even entered into any discussion with you before you're so far off my radar.

But if you want me to stop highlighting the fact that you are a moron then I suggest you stop posting like one.

You call that a discussion?

Sam Tubber One day you will wake up and realise that nobody here likes you.

Still makes me chuckle, that one. Thanks for reminding me.

Unless it's made of wool, cotton or silk it probably has been for years.
