Alan Partridge
andyhalls Can't stand listening to 107fm on the way back from matches, or when I can't make a game.

107fm is gonna be recieving one whole lotta hate mail from my email account in the coming weeks.

Is there nothing the fans can do to sway this decision? Surely if we got a bigger group of fans wanting to have BBC Berks, we could hijack the whole damn idea.

Bring on a petition thats what I say!

THat's the way, don't know how you can do it but there is a site where you can set one up, everyone sign it and send it to R£ading Monopoly Club.

I'm working on it right now. Just need to decide on a decent petition statement!

I am shocked at this. I have sent a supportive email to Joel - I suggest others do also.

Blimey, emailed Joel and got an email back pronto. RFC take note.

I wouldn't dignify 107 with an email, I don't think I care enough about their 'middle of the road' station to bother.

Yep, if a tender has been accepted by the club then it is as good as a contract I believe (happy to be corrected). If so a petition is less than pointless and will have no effect. Not that I would have signed it anyway.

What story?

The fact that the club have chosen the bid they feel is more beneficial to themselves (for whatever reason). Shock, horror.

Lets just hope Joel and boys still give us their expert opinion on the quality of the pies at the away grounds next years, as well as the scores.

Yes, whilst letting down all those who rely on BBC Radio Berkshire to keep them in touch with what's going on with their football club.

Another unthinking decision of crass incompetence from our beloved football club.
