It's great to see fans wearing old style shirts to matches and at the prices charged I expect these shirts to last a lifetime.

I may have to dig out my old third strip from c. '94, then. Red and yellow hoops with black trim. Once serenaded by a load of Bristol City fans outside the pub on Oxford Rd with a chant of "What the oxf*rd hell is that?!" Also hung out of the window by my German neighbour as a stand-in German flag during Euro '96.

I still get abuse from mates for having bought that one!

Royal Monk Bought mine yesterday , returned it today because the stitching around the neck was shite and coming apart. While in the megastore i bumped into 2 friends who had bought 4 new home shirts for them and their kids.I advised them to check theres and 2 out of the 4 where faulty ,they had allready been printed on (name and number and premiership patches).
The salesperson in the megastore was very helpfull and opened new bags of shirts for them .... the first 6 they opened where all faulty

So when you buy the new home shirt , check the stitching around the neck and save yourself a return journey !

im not surprised as it looks as if the shirt is two shirts sewn together, possibly two of last seasons shirts.

im not impressed by the look of it as well as the sounds of it being rubbish quality

What do you expect for £40 ? Of course it's going to fall apart.

Well, considering i haven't had a Reading shirt since i was 11 i really need to get a new one. I'll be sure to check up on the quality of the one i purchase. Hopefully its just this batch, in which case my decision to wait till i have enough cash will pay off...

Was intending to buy the new shirt, but not impressed by all these negative comments. Are people finding the same problems with the away kit, or is just the home design that's not up to standard??
