Just tried to buy a ticket even though haven't got enough points. It would let me choose one so I would suggest that they haven't sold out.

As I have started on another thread..... go and get yourself Man City tickets - they have made a mistake and made them available to people with only 10 points. Go for it!

Are you encouraging people to take advantage of a mistake? Why not notify the club? What if someone with over 100 points wants a ticket and can't get one because people with 10 points have purchased them all?

Potentially ripping off fellow Royals, you make me sick.

Royal Lady
Rawlie19 Sure it does. To get 100+ royalty points without a season ticket requires a fair amount of games. My friend has been to as many home games as he could get to, and only has 80 points.
that's without a season ticket THIS season, there will be some who have previously had a season ticket and more points than that who aren't able to afford a season ticket this year. I would have thought the majority of RFC fans have over 100 points in total.

I have pissing 98, so have to wait and see if I can get one on Tuesday. Trust me RL there are a lot of us with less than 100 points. I know for a fact Donface has less than that as well, and you know we're not plastic newbies

why not, they won't make it again and it gets fans with less disposable income who haven't managed as many games over the lst year or two to get to se us play in the prem.

Crap online service. I'm bloody stuck in row A! :x

Is there any point in ringing them up and asking them to move my seat higher up?

When the OS states that we can buy tickets online on a given day with xxx amount of royalty points, what time do they mean?

I've had this problem before.

I have 87 points and want to get one tomorrow, but do I go online at midnight tonight, or do I have to wait for someone to get to the Madstad tomorrow morning for them to "enable" the new Royalty points requirement?

The OS does state times for fax and phone number sales but not for online sales.

cheers,
Tom.

Phoned them up, got them to change it to V row, much happier with that. Although they insisted on sending me a paper ticket because I changed seats. :? I asked them whether they were sticking it on my member card instead.

The online site will only let you book tickets in the South Stand now, Row AA are being dished out. Other stands presumably sold out.

I don't think they are selling any seats in other stands at all.

As a sidenote to this episode, I have been told to ring up the ticket office in future if I want a specific seat. Well, if that's the case, what is the bloody use of the online ticketing service if you can't do that on it?

If you're in Row A for the Man City game you've got the added exposure of the Sky cameras to worry about!

My mate's ST last year was in row D of the north stand - he reckoned he could only see the near half of the pitch, and ended up watching half of the game on the big screen.

Serves him right for being so blase about returning his HST application form last year.

To be honest, last year was supposed to be a sell-out, yet Iain never had a problem moving up to somewhere near my seat (row CC). From the sounds of it, we're not even near a sell-out this season, and I suspect that a Monday night televised match will leave a large number of seats empty.

Eventually got through to the sales centre to ask about online ticket sales, and tickets are sold from the same start times as by phone/fax.

So for those of us on 60 points of more, we only will be able to able buy tickets from 10am tomorrow (tuesday).
