So the anticipated mad scramble for STH's and the scare stories of thousands of 'loyal' supporters missing out have proved to be false. At the moment one could simply buy a ticket for a friendly game to hit the qualifying mark. Perhaps Mr Mad should have listened to me when I told him the ST cost was set too high?

The attendances this season will be interesting (well about as interesting as attendances can be).

I'm not sure how many the club are expecting to sell, but I dont think we will sell out every home game (unless we're walking the league by Feb!).

As a non st holder and irregular viewer now, I will have no interest in seeing most of the games that I might have a chance of getting a ticket for, 92 pts for me BTW, I would think that would be Fulham, Charlton, Blackburn, Bolton, Sheff U, Wigan and Watford.

It could just be that the expansion will be put on hold.

^Herb^ Out of interest, how many new applicants have received the "alledged" text/email to inform them that they have got a seaon ticket??

To be fair, I received text confirmations for two of the three season tickets I renewed. They were all done at the same time so I'm not sure what happened to the third one!

Checking on-line plus my credit card statement suggests I have succeeded in renewing all three but I still won't rest comfortable until we've sat through a couple of games without someone else turning up and claiming we are sat in their seats!!

DavidM62 Did anyone get a ST with less than 50 Royalty points ?

Or maybe we should ask "Did anyone who applied not get one?" Perhaps it will be easier to get to see prem games than it was to get to see games in the 2nd half of last season!

If there are still seats available and if you applied again then you might get a ST even with zero (or maybe just 20 Feyenoord points)?

OK, the reason I asked, is that I have 50 Royalty point and didn't receive a ST. I just wanted to check that others below my total didn't get one.

would be a shocking way to run a business if true....as this would imply that they simply threw away anyone's applications with a low number of points in the hope that those with alot of points would renew.

Bit like sliting your own throat for the fun of it.

Does anyone actually know how many season tickets have currently been sold? And also, what is the club's limit for season ticket holders? I have 18,000 in my head but I'm not sure if this is correct...

Just been on the phone to TO and apprently Season Tickets are now sold out. I am fuming at this because there is a situation with Myself and the club which has been ongoing for the past 2 weeks which they have still failed to sort out. Basically my other half has applied for a season ticket but she was not on the system because the sale centre staff were always 'too busy' everytime we went in there. She purchased around 8 home tickets and 5 away, plus Feyenoord ticket. It is apparent that recently people with as little as 20 points got a ST, which she would have easily beaten that. Situation been going on for 2 weeks and could have easily been sorted, now we miss out. Cheers RFC!

As they've now sold out I would suggest he was only too right to ignore your advice

That Friday Feeling The door is shut
http://www.readingfc.premiumtv.co.uk/pa ... 43,00.html
18,000 tickets sold

I'm having difficulty making the numbers in that article add up. What it says is that we have 18000 STH and 2400 other home tickets available. We also know that there are about 2300 away tickets available. That adds up to 22700. Now in my head I have the figure of 1023 hospitality tickets (red seats), which gets us up to 23723. The stadium capacity is 24225 according to a communication sent to Deadlock recently, so what's happened to the other 502?

Taking things from the other perspective, assuming the above numbers for capacity, away seats and hospitality, there should be 20902 seats for home fans. Reading say that they make 90% available for season ticket holders, which is 18812. So the fact that they make 18000 available for STH means that they're using a home capacity of 20000. But in that case there would only be 2000 available for individual match sales rather than 2400. Also, that would make home+away+hospitality = 23323 which is obviously way too low.

One extra thing to add - Middlesbrough have put 2211 tickets on sale as away tickets for the opening game. I'll assume that this is because the other 89 or so have already been allocated by their club.

Are those additional 500 seats for staff etc? For example, I know Golden Gamble sellers can get in to games for £10 this season so they will need seats put by.
