I'd probably ask the seller if he has the rest of leroy's gear

 Someone going to report this...? No one would sell a medal within months of getting it.

You can afford to bid up to £1000 because that is how much Kyocera are offering a reward to get Lita's gear back. :D

I have informed ebay. It surely must be Leroy's. On a similar note, we know someone that had a pair of signed Muhamed Ali boxing shorts and a couple of other signed memorabilia stolen. I'm always on the look out on ebay.

I have informed the Club who are investigating this, it may have been donated by a Club official so its worth checking of course, but they have said they are discussing it with ebay and will get back to me.

well, any club official who thinks so little of a championship medal before the new season has even started - needs to think again imho.

I hope to hear from ebay shortly also.

Even if it's being sold to raise funds for Sidwells new contract?

I tried a few bids but we're up to £50 with the reserve still not met. I hope the football club, maybe police, are notified. It may be genuine, as players and staff received a medal but it does seem strange that someone would want to part with it, especially with the record breaking manner in which the club earned those medals!

yes! Particularly for that. 99p won't get him far anyway.

I can understand these old blokes who had a medal for years etc and lack of money in their dotage means they have to sell stuff on, but a couple of months?? come on.

Some players apparently can't afford to feed their family on the small wages RFC pay them so they may need the extra cash, (I think I can see a ginger hair caught in the ribbon)
