I saw the goals from Saturdays match on Sky, the new shirt is just awful! You can hardly see the hoops, we're losing our identity.

Another consequence of Rip-off Reading.

Exactly. Maybe next time the football club wish to change the home kit especially, they might provide the fans with a few possibles, and we can vote. We're the ones that buy the thing, let us have an influence on what it looks like!
With those that are a dab hand with paint shop, maybe even let fans send in their designs?

Still got that shirt with Williams on the back from that season. Having lost a load of weight in the last year or so, I might fit into it again.

Schards#2 Saw the new shirt in the flesh, so to speak, for the first time today - god is it awful. Who the hell designed that, looks like a Primary School make a new Reading shirt competition winner.

Watching the match today, I have to say that I couldn't get out of my head the idea that we were watching Ipswich every time the players were facing away from me. I'm sure I'll get used to it though - I got used to last year's.

Just wathced the highlights and my first thought was I was watching Millwall (empty stands too!)

It's here, I've got it, and boy does it look goooooooood on me!

The stitching is ever so slightly poor at the back of the neck, but you'd have to be a fussy bugger to whine about it, on this shirt at least.

'av' it! :P

I doubt it, I didn't look good on any of the fans nor the players at the Feyenoord game... Chances are, it doesn't look good on you.

 I still don't know whether to get it, after all it is the shirt we could wear in our only premiership season etc

I really dont like the white bib on the front neck

If you looks at Stokes kit they have the same white bib and similar neck - its as though Puma have one design which they replicate (the only changes being the colours of the club)

Most kit companies seem to do this - cf. Nike and Addidas.

may I help?

I say old chaps, the back of my shirt stitching came undone after I had sat down on a chair at home. Ha ha ha. The quality is very poor indeed on this shirt. I have just taken it back to the megastore and received a new one in exchange. Ha ha ha.

Typical Reading FC

Sent my postal order in. Emailed the club & said I could pick the shirt up this morning so I was guarenteed to have it before the game today. Email reply from Mark Ilsley stating a shirt had been reserved for me with name number & premiership badges.

So waht happens this morning? The shirt arrives in the post.

So had the post not come before I went out this morning (which it usually doesnt), I'd have gone to the ground & spent another £51.

Bloody clueless.
