Paddy Power put us 6th likeliest to be top come the end of the month

behind Chelsea, Man U, Liverpool, Arsenal and Tottenham.

Just shows how vital it is to get points out of our first few fixtures.

If you check previous threads you can see that we were at 66-1 to be top at end of Augbut with so many honobbers betting on it, the price was moved to 26-1

Then again, Paddy Power were the betting company that famously lost thousands on the bets for the completetion date of Wembley Stadium, to people wearing hard hats and looking like they had just come from a building site, in the wembley area itself.

They are also the company that paid out on Arsenal winning the league, before Man Utd went on and won it...

Paddy power also has Frank Lampard second favourite to be the Premierships leading goalscorer at 11/2

They will have to be giving him a much larger Barn door to aim at, and a Banjo with a much lomger neck then!!

By the way if you still want to back Reading to be top at August, they are trading at 60 on Betfair (59/1 less 5% commission). As far as I remember Arsenal and Liverpool only have 2 games in August so they are unlikely to be top, especially as we will take a minimum 7 points from our first 3 games.
