Right back indeed, although I hope we can bring someone better in.

I think he's always played right for Villa but wasn;t he up against Beckham in the WC?

He is, apparently, the Ecuadorian David beckham.

wins a prize from me for "Player who looks most like an Inca" nudging Nobby "Panpipes" Solano into second place.

He also looks a bit fat.

OS says right back.

Could be a very useful squad player.

Leave spickroyal out of this.

Can De La Cruz play up front? If so, sign him up. Got a lot of press furing the WC fro obvious reasons and I remember Graham Taylor saying he was actually a decent player but it just didn't work out for him at Villa.

I've always thought he wasn't quite up to prem standard, but given that he's available on a free (and having faith in Coppel's ability to get the best out of a player) he might be a good addition to the squad.

Well, he's free and we need that experience. It looks like Halls isn't comfortable at right back and could be used in central midfield as a holding type player, so good news IMO.

If we get Bikey as well we have an impressively international defence!

So that's your judgement, is it? I think I would trust Coppell's rather than yours.

he's a free agent, would add experience / back up and is a decent player - for these reasons I would sign him up!
