Don't Forget this is Wigans first home game of the season, they had a midweek break. It's only half time, we've gone a bit long ball, no one from midfield is getting hold of the ball.

Big Gap between centre backs and Midfield, Valencia (?sp) is bossing the game in the middle, closing down very quickly.

We normally play quite a few one touch balls to make space, can't think of one today.

Still 45 to go, Come on u royals

The 17 Bus
KC Royal I must admit before the Boro game I had doubts about Sidwell and Harper in the midfield, I think we miss Gunnarsson when he's not there. 1st half against Boro, and now today my fears are being confirmed.

he came on for 7 mins, how did we miss him against Boro?

He would have won the ball in the first 20 mins, when the rest of the team just stood off them.

In the predictions for the first 5 games, I went for
Boro W
Villa L
Wigan D
Sheff Utd D
Man City D

Anything less than 6 pts is relegation form imo :(

it is only the first few games of the season, we still have well over 30 left. if we lose the next couple of games including wigan it wont be a disater, by the sounds of things the game is reletively even anyway.

There is still 45 mins anyway plenty of time to even win the game

Salako was funny, 5 minutes before the goal he was saying it was a very open and even game, then when the scored, Wigan have totally outclassed Reading

And apologies for my sarcasm. I just get a little fed up with the knee-jerk negativity round these parts.

Big hug...

Its only half time, cheer up! Sounds even and open so its far from over. We have shown we are not here just to make up numbers. Be a bit more positive

To be fair I respect your views Sharpy, tad harsh but understandable as we know what to expect from Heskey. His main strength is his aerial ability, and thats one thing I thought we'd cope with. Plus he was unmarked for the goal? inexcusable
