boycey best - west ham

worst - chelsea by a mile .

Tell me you're kidding?

you see them on saturday?
7000 to wigan?
.

It always helps to swell the numbers of the away support when the travel is free (in this case paid for by the players). I wonder how many they would have had if travel wasn't free...

Below is a photo from when we played at the JJB in our first season following relegation.

Approx 8,000 hammers went up that day (including me) and the coaches werent free.

We filled the whole stand along the side of the pitch.

It was a key game at the time though seeing as it was April 2nd and you were on the run that took you into the playoffs at the expense of us

Not saying it wasnt mate.

I was just proving the point that we dont need free coach travel to take big crowds away from home.

True but do you think that many would have gone had it not been free transport? I wouldn't call West Ham's numbers into question, just the quality of the support

Only 21 coaches went up on Saturday.

If you assume 50 people per coach, thats 1050 who went by coach.

Without sounding arrogant, we could have sold over 8000 again without the free travel.

There was also loads of hammers chucked out of the home stands aswell.

FWIW I personally think Liverpool fans are the best in the prem.

Chelski are probably the worst.

I have been lucky enough to attend every RFC Premiership match this season and can tell you that having been to The JJB, Vicarage Road and The Reebok that to call the RFC support the worst in the league is truly nonsense.
