Barry the bird boggler Sidwell was on loan at Brighton when we bought him.

Yes, but did we pay Brighton anything? I think the answer is NO.

Whatever it is, I'm sure that it'll be balanced out by our goings.

Alan Partridge
Ideal
Hoop Blah Rodgers....this team is now his team.

Good or bad?

Find out over the course of the season.

He's doing it his way, at least if he does fail it was his team and he can't blame anyone else.f he succeeds then he's done fantastically well.

Agreed, time will tell.

The whole squad is really work in progress and this 'project' will take more than just this season to come to fruition. Will Rodgers get that time? I think it depends on the progress we see on the pitch.

Getting this bunch of youngsters to battle it out with proper Championship sides week-in week-out will be a tough ask and I do worry that Rodgers has left himself with too big a battle for his first season.

by juanpablo » 02 Sep 2009 14:57

sorry but so many posts and rumours

surely we havent let Liam go without getting somebody in? Unfortunately Kelly cant tackle or pass which could prove a problem if we are playing him

Cummings has indeed signed, on a 3 year deal.

Yes, have you not checked out the offical website?

And he's only 20, really should give him a chance rather than slag him off.

I am shocked if we have let Liam go for this

The boing boings don't know what they are letting themselves in for "

"I'm looking forward to the BBC pundits ripping him a new one. In a word useless."

" seriously though the guy is not a wing back, he started as a forward and at best is League 2/Conference Standard, simples."

he played 30 odd games at that level and was quoted as one of the worst defenders MK dons fans had ever seen

Don't forget that players instantly become crap when they leave a club. The crapper the fans say he is, the more upset they are to see him leave.

You'd think that the manager that has worked with the player most, eg BR knows what he's getting and obviously feels he fits the formation more than Liam.

I'll wait before making my mind up on a player. Di Matteo clearly rated him, and so must have Chelsea if they kept him until he was 20. WBA fans thought he was good during his time there, and TBH with Rodgers having worked with him for 2 years prior to coming him, I'll trust him rather than MK Dons.

He is a worse defender than Liam whatever system that fits into I dont know. Kebe is obviously not the best tackler so expect us to get COMPLETELY raped down our right side at all times
