Something you are probably not aware of is that Bryn was subject to a robbery at the beginning of the week.Lost a lot of stuff, including his 4x4 whilst asleep.So was under a huge amount of stress outside football.

Woeful. I feared for us when Benayoun was picked on the left, but he seemed to spend half his time in the middle. I can't help but feel Liverpool ignored probably our biggest weakness over the 210 minutes we played them.

If they'd have just put a pacey player up against Gunnarsson to take him on and given him support from the left back. I think it would have been very different.

Bryn was spectacular and, amazingly, was at his best in extra time. All I was saying was that the Argentine International, Insua was absolute pooh throughout.

Its become apparent that Bryn is such a key player to have in the 'bigger' games. Including last night and the first match I can think of him having wonder games in both matches in the FA Cup against United a few years back and Sheff Utd in the promotion season. Chuffed to bits for him!

He was poor against Liverpool at home. Tonight he was awesome though. I'm sure he'll play like that against Forest

I fear Brynjar may get both good and bad tv coverage for his skills and neat footwork.

The good for the way he set up the winning goal, the bad for when he managed to knock the ball under his own foot and trip himself up to send him flying head first over the boundary wall and into the front row of scousers! Both supporters and Brynjar ended up having a laugh over that one.

Before the winner. He (and we) were really lucky that he didn't hurt himself. The commentators were joking that a kid in the front row had just had his first set of teeth come out a bit earlier than planned, courtesy of Brynjar's head.

I think there was a mix of Scousers laughing with and at him. He certainly had the last laugh on those that were laughing at him!!

He did indeed! Its one of those moments where its hilarious unless it happens to you! As soon as we saw him get up uninjured we had a chuckle in the away end!
