peterroyal76 Harry Redknapp has just been asked by Sky sports about the Euro's.

He then went crazy1 "Euro's, what Euro's ?!? They told you I ain't guilty!!"

And then what happened?

Terminal Boardom Whatever haoppens, the FA need to impose a policy of not selecting players that have been charged by the Police / CPS ? whatever legal body. That would bypass any future JT type furore and send a clear message to the players that behaviour on and off the field must be exemplary.

I like it but it'll reduce the pool of available players by too much.

Not fussed he has gone at all really...not a bad manager but never settled into the role really.

Tme for Redknapp I guess..he'd have the media onside and probably get something out of the players (as they cannot self motivate themselves?) but hopefully people won't get too excited.

Afterall he can only coach..not play the game.

My only doubt is that in the past Harry has said the "Golden Generation" of players can still perform for England when it matters....maybe some can but we need to start looking to the future as Capello was.

He's Lampard's uncle, and I'd rather not have Lampard in the team these days.

Harry would have the media onside, but I don't think that makes any difference. So did Keegan. And Ramsey did not.

Has anyone else noticed that it won't actually matter who the manager is because England simply don't have enough good players to win any of these tournaments.

If yoiu want to prove that to yourself try two little tests :

1. Name your own best England team - then pick as many of them as would get into the teams for Spain, Germany, Brazil, etc.

2. Name the Premier League best 11 - then tell everyone how many of them are English

I reckon Hart ............. then I'm struggling a bit.

Ashley Cole maybe (although Evra may keep him away from the PL select), Rooney (not for me but may be a possible)

Any more ?

Still means we wouldn't get any into the Spain or Germany teams and on that basis why would we believe we can win any tournament.

England supporters having Man Utd syndrome shocker !!
