winchester_royal I know his last couple of seasons haven't been the gr8est, but I'm very pleased with this. At 27 he still has improvement in him, and a return to the club where it all started could kick start a revival. If he can get back to the level he was at 3 years ago then at 600k he'll be an absolute bargain. He also plays in an area where we desperately some help in.

So yeah, chuffed. Should get a decent welcome on Saturday from the travelling fans too. :)

+1 to the bit in bold. Admittedly i'm swayed by the homecoming, but this is brilliant news. His overall record at this level surprised me. It's better than people give him credit for if you look past the goals, even last season he still had an impact. Not really expecting him to improve further though, putting everything into the mix I think he's at his peak now, with us. But then I have got high hopes for him this season.

Starting to think a play off push might be on...

Sanguine Agreed with that, although let's be clear, we aren't going to do a Burnley.

Reading or Liverpool?

Simon Cox is a typical modern day English player. Think they're big stars from a few months decent form, ponce about and get lots of tattoo's whilst their career remains stagnant and his very happy to pick up his decent wages.

Go and suck Drogba off and leave us to be happy about bringing a REAL academy product home. Not one we buy from the continent at the age of 16 and call our own

SPARTA Forest press claiming he's having a second medical today and Mackie bunged a lift down with him to complete a season loan. Happy with both!

What happened with the 1st medical?

When we have medical staff who fail to spot Mclearey's broken back it's probably a good idea to get a second medical. Plus the insurance company might have insisted.

Why so RattLOLed?

Is it because your vast number of players who pick up huge wages and have stagnant careers aren't English?
