Keep on eye on Brighton, though. At the moment they can finish with more points than Newcastle. Please don't let it be THEM!
Anyone know/remember how many points we had after 23 games on our way to the record?

I get utterly frustrated by why Brighton dont get beaten by anyone for long periods and today theyve got an easy home game v the injury ravaged fakes so cant see any delay to their pointage haul unfortunately.

Still strange things can happen....

Brighton aren't going to drop any points from games at home to woeful QPR and Cardiff sides. They have Fulham and Huddersfield (a) and Sheff Weds and Newcastle (h) in the next 5 games after these. If they pick up 12/13 points from those 5 then I will start to think they have an outside chance.

56 pts from the 2nd half of the season is a big ask esp if they keep up this page they will likely be up with a few games in hand and take the foot of the pedal.

We drew 5 of our last 9 games in the 106 season. There is scope for a team that's in range to have a better run in.
Any team that (ever) beats 106 has had a phenomenal season.

Our home record that season was W 19 D 3 L 1. Away wasn't too shabby either W 12 D 10 L 1.
Brighton are currently home W 9 D 2 L 1 and away W 6 D 4 L 1. So 10 wins and a draw at home plus 6 wins and 6 draws away would match our 106. No sweat

If either Murray or Knockaert get injured though then Brighton will struggle to beat the record.

They are 5 pts off record pace.

At this stage, in the next 10 games we'd win 7 and draw 3 (24 pts) so they'd have to win the next 10 games in row to overtake our pace. And then after that they'd still need 23 points from the remaining 13 games to break the record.

Don't quite know what you mean?

They are so indifferent towards us, I doubt it would get a mention.

I like how we can still beat our own record at this point in the season, it beats being out of the list before winter hits.

That said I think as we can only afford to draw one more game, we might not break the record.
