Dirk Gently Good idea - our attack is a problem that needs addressing at the moment!

I know. Not scoring 7 at Spurs was a disgrace.

wouldnt be the worst move to happen. though he is a striker and (unless someone is on the way out) we seem to have enough in that category.

Shame we had to give Hannemann another contract... We could have built a squad of 11 strikers then. 0-0-11... Just like back at school.

If he's on a free, why not flog Lita for 2mil before his value drops. Long is still a way better option coming off the bench at the moment, Lita's always been pretty erratic anyhow.

Apologies, i didnt see the 'edit' tab........

A lot of well known footballers pages are locked so that any old idiot cant change them, and as someone with over 30 caps for the USA i presumed that would be case

Eddie Johnson's agent Middlesbrough, Benfica and Reading are all still interested in Eddie. Benfica is a good option for Eddie as he is good friends with Freddy (Adu)

He wants to play in Europe and now has to choose where

Still not 100% sure but I may have been wrong about his contract being up, it might be that he has just entered his last year

Yep skysports saying he's heading to england to have talks with Fulham. Can we steal this at the 11th hour?? Knowing RFC, we knew about it but didn't act on it.

He joined us for training last year, I'm sure if they thought he could add something to our squad they would be attempting to sign him. As it is I guess they don't rate him.

The reports seem to suggest he is heading to England, which they expect to be Fulham,

It is not conclusive that he is going to Fulham, could be on his way to Reading. Fulham and Reading are the two clubs with links to the MLS set up

nickbob_sexypants could be on his way to Reading

That would only happen if Lita was on his way, and this morning SSC said nobody had spoken to them about Lita.

I'm sure if anyone was talking to us about him we still wouldn't admit it, it's not how we do things.

Yeah that is true, but you never know what goes on behind the scenes, which has it good sides and its bad sides. It's good that we can target players without alerting other clubs, but at the same time it gives the impression that the club are not bothered about bringing in new players, which I'm sure is not the case. I bet they are putting in more hours than alot of us, who manage to find time to read / write on these forums.

He also played in a close doors friendly, and was rated as shite in the friendly.

He seems a good young player, the US rate him but he's not what we need. Another one that couldn't come in straight away.

He's brilliant when he's on his game, but he's quite inconsistent and has a bit of an ego/attitude problem to deal with. Sound familiar?

So with McBride, Dempsey, Bocanegra and Keller, plus Lewis and Feilhaber at Derby, that'll be seven yanks for the drop come May.

Feilhaber could be gone before Derby ends the season, which I think is a shame seeing how he seems to have never even got an opportunity there. Dempsey should get some offers from other Prem sides. I'd love it if we could get him. The rest will go down with Fulham or come back to the US. McBride for the Fire?
