Peter Kay - Top of the To Sorry, but Kits tackle was a Red card. The ref was Styles and we were at Old Trafford, neither of which helped, but it was still a red card.

I think one of the dissapointing things for him being injured for most of last season is that he hasnt had as much a chance as others to adapt to Premiership level football.

Kits greatest asset is his energy and resilience, he needs to learn how to harness that in order to be more effective in the Premiership. I like his style but if he commits to a tackle like that, he has to get his timing absolutely spot on, otherwise he will either get sent off, or needless bookings. Evra showed how Premiership players will make a meal out of a late tackle. Kits need to learn from this.


Funny how the only pundit thus far to condemn the tackle is Ruud Gullit. Referees have absolutely no consistency as subsequent games have shown and there is no way in hell it was a red card. Styles literally charged over with his red card, which he'd been wanting to use on a Reading player all afternoon.

You don't happen to think Evra's pulling over of Hunt when he was about to break into the box warranted a card then?
